Aimsites.org is a service designed for AIM Missionaries to create and maintain their own website or blog.
Are you an AIM Missionary wanting a blog to share what God is doing in Africa and amongst Africans?
It’s official! I am now an Africa Inland Mission (AIM) appointee assigned to Mocimboa, Mozambique. I will be a part of a team working to reach the Mwani people with the Gospel, from July 2009 through July 2011.
My primary responsibility will be teaching four or five missionary children, in kindergarten through fourth grade. I will also work to learn the Kimwani language, thus allowing me to build friendships with the Mwani people. Other possible ministry opportunities include helping at the Tumaini Community Center where a library, sports ministry, English classes, and preschool are available for the Mwani.
Steve and Sharon Entwistle, veteran missionaries who have lived in Mocimboa since 2002, will lead the Mocimboa team. Three of their children will be my scholars. Other members continue to be added to the team. So far the team is made of up of people from five different continents!
I would like to invite you to be part of the Mocimboa team through prayer and financial support, if the Lord leads you. I need a dedicated prayer team who can pray for requests on a regular basis. I also must raise financial support. If you are interested in supporting me through prayer or financially, please contact me via email. Thank you!
